Agents were promised a series of vaccinations for hepatitus months ago as part of a new Health and Safety initiative
brought about by the Yuma Health and Safety Committee headed by ACPA Jumbeck. ACPA Jumbeck has yet to accomplish this
task. However, it is the Local's understanding that the money to fund this program will come from Federal Occupational
Health (FOH). I have been told that the shots should be administered during the third quarter. Once the funding
arrives, Yuma Sectors plans are to have agents attend a "primecare" type of facility during quarterly qualifications.
This should present an interesting obstacle since there are a series of shots for hepatitus. Of course, the shots may
arrive as soon as the new station, or the additional processing facilities arrive.
